Opened my blog in English
This is my second blog pairing with my Korean blog : rosemund.egloos.com in Egloos.
Because I speak English for most of the time and have many friends who I talk to in English, I wanted to have those English-speaking friends be able to read my blog as well.
After I discovered that blogs in Egloos can not display menu in English, I opened my 2nd blog site in E-blogger by Google. There is not a particular reason to choose the Google blogger except when I tried to look up free blogging websites in Google, E-blogger by Google showed up on the first line. --;;
Anyhow at least I'm satisfied with the blog page design in E-blogger which I found resembled Egloos'. However some of the blog management functions are inconvenient for me. For example I had to post my profile picture as a new posting first to refer to the picture in "Edit profile"menu because I could only link the picture from some website for my profile photo. Also to do this, I had to download "Hello", a program to send pictures from my computer to my blog. In Egloos, all I need to do was just to download the picture directly from my computer.
Maybe I'm just not used to a new stuff.
Well I'm not a native English speaker. I still need webster.com to write this short posting and to proofread it for a couple of times. Probably my writing style might not be English at all. But I'm hoping that I will be a better writer by writing in English often.
You are welcome to comment on my writing style, grammar, choice of words, spelling, etc as well as ...uh ..... anything.
P.S. The blog management menu displays in Korean. Cool!

Hey Alvaro, I didn't recongnize you until I visited your blog. I didn't know you are blogging(?). You had a lot of interesting writings that I'm going to read one by one. :) I drew that picture of Rei Ayanami. I have some more pictures (I used to draw many fan arts...) I would like to start drawing again. If you have any request...

Well, I wouldn't call what I have done "blogging"... it is more like a disorganized copy and paste of several things I had written for other things. As you can see my blogging is not very well kept, neither interesting. It was mostly meant for personal use :-P
How did you draw the picture? Where do you have the rest of your drawings? What have you done with your other Fan Arts?? As for my request? Anything related to Ghost in the Shell will do =). Talking about pop culture, I also like a lot the art of Dave Mckean and Alex Ross:

they have drawn some of the best comic books around.

Yo Alvaro, how was your weekend?
I checked the website that you liked. I think I can recongnize Alex Ross's works. I was surprised that I also had a drawing of "Gatchaman"(Anime). They look very nice; all works. My favorite is Wonder Woman.
I draw using Design markers. Ayanami Ray is drawn with markers, pen/ink.
By the way nowadays I'm watching Zeta gundam. Highly recommended!!! A must-see :)

Yes, I don't know why in Colombia (and latin america in general) we grew up watching a different kind of anime that the one that was popular in the U.S. We never watched Gatchaman or Robotech (Macross?), we watched
"La abeja Maya"

"Capitan Centella"

"Mazinger"

By the way, I think people call her "Ayanami Rei" as opposed to "Ray"... although in english this might sound the same...
